John (22 December 1365-28 January 1381) was High King of the Resurgent Dream from 13 July 1374 until 28 January 1381 when Thomas of Wintermore slew him for the throne.

John's power was weak for the entirety of his reign, with various local leaders frequently setting their own policy in defiance of the Crown. No lasting acts were passed by High King John nor were any great works of art of charity patronized by him. He was well-known as a gambler and a womanizer, much to the barely concealed dismay of his wife, Madhavi.
