Jolt is a UK gaming company that now hosts NationStates and the NationStates forums.

Launched in October 1999, it is Europe's largest privately owned and independent online gaming network, with over 900 game servers online.

Recently Jolt upgraded the vBulletin software to version 3.5. As with all new software, there will be errors and bugs to work out. The current error is one that displays the following to certain (apparently random) nationstates members.

vBulletin datastore error caused by one or more of the following:

1. You may have uploaded vBulletin 3.5 files without also running the vBulletin 3.5 upgrade script. If you have not run the upgrade script, do so now.

2. The datastore cache may have been corrupted. Run Rebuild Bitfields from tools.php, which you can upload from the do_not_upload folder of the vBulletin package.

Fatal error: vBulletin datastore cache incomplete or corrupt in /includes/init.php on line 170

This error is apparently caused by a eAcceleration software called TurkMMCache. The vBulletin forum thread regarding this is here.
