Schooldays
Born in Przemysl in the Rozdzielać Polska (Polish Segment) of Northern pre-Break Scolopendra, Razak showed promise from an early age, having a natural aptitude as a leader and a charismatic figure of authority. Gregarious, easy-going, and natural, he excelled in endeavours social, personal, athletic, and educational. In secondary school he was simultaneously class president, captain of the football team, and captain of the academic team. According to an interview with Mr. Razak, "everyone expected me to go on to great things. Be a legislator or something."
Mobile Infantry
When he graduated as valedictorian of his secondary school class, the situation with the NeoRus was turning violent along the borders with the Crimean states. Przemysl, being immediately adjacent, had an influx of refugees from across the border. "Seeing that," says Razak, "is what solidified in my mind at least that someone had to do something about it. Might as well be me." He immediately joined the Scolopendran Mobile Infantry and shipped out as a Specialist after training in demolitions. His first few missions immediately tagged him as a natural combat leader and so he was directed to Officer Candidates' School, where he studied at the Politechnika Krakowska and emerged with degree in aerospace engineering and a commission as a second lieutenant.
Immediately returning to the field, Razak proved his capabilities throughout the series of conflicts that made up the Crimean Extraction Campaign. Quickly rising through the ranks to Colonel, he ended up commanding his own division of 480 battle-armored troopers, the 58th "Flyboys" Scolopendran Mobile Infantry Division. In the last year of the Crimean Extraction Campaign, he married Reyja Katajarnki, then shipped out again. While he was on station on an orbital drop platform, she committed suicide, leaving him a widower. Whenever interviewed later, he declined to comment on that portion of his life.
Tibetan Extraction Campaign
When the Federated Segments of Scolopendra received a distress signal from the kzin populations in the Tibetan Highlands, Colonel Razak and the 58th SMIDiv were immediately deployed to respond. As per doctrine, Razak was the first trooper to make planetfall and as such made first face-to-face contact with the kzin. Tasked with ensuring the survival and freedom of the kzinti people, Colonel Razak debated for days with the kzin Patriarch to allow the Scolopendrans to extract them, finally winning a reluctant agreement. As the extractions began, the Patriarch refused to leave and was eventually assassinated by a Confederate SouthEast Asian sniper, which triggered a massive Mobile Infantry response, led by Colonel Razak, to demolish CSEA forces in the area in retribution.
After the Tibetan Extraction Campaign, Razak retired from the Mobile Infantry and shifted into administrative support work in the Defense Section of the Scolopendran government, something he was not entirely well-suited for. He was quickly transferred to strategic think-tanks, where his field experience was far more useful. Finally, he was assigned as strategic director of military operations for the Titan colonization mission, ensuring his survival through The Break.

Foot-to-Ass Advisor
As military strategic director, Razak was immediately installed as Defense Advisor by emergency Supreme Emperor Alshai Kommetrez. Immediately rebuilding the SMI, Razak was largely responsible for installing the organization necessary to grow the three available light capital ships of the Titan colony into the large fleets now operated by the Triumvirate of Yut.
After the Triumvirate of Yut became better situated on Titan, it turned its attentions back Earthward. Still remembering the painful experiences of those populations escaping genocide and slavery in pre-Break Earth, the Triumvirate of Yut declared itself as a militant police force against genocide, dedicating itself to extracting those who would be harmed without need. To reflect this change in attitude, Razak changed the name of the Defense Section to the Foot-to-Ass Section, because, as he says, "it seemed appropriate at the time." He led the FtA Section for several years, throughout the administrations of Supreme Emperors Alshai Kommetrez and Jon Owen Hertzfeldt and even into the early part of Speaker-Rrit's administration.
PseudoEmperor
When Speaker-Rrit needed to take time off from his duties to reestablish the Kzin Patriarchy, he promoted Razak to PseudoEmperor and left him in charge in his absence. Razak's first official act was to publicly humiliate the Empire of the Eternal Dawn by sending it a "tactical fruit basket" in what he called "guerrilla diplomacy." He later apologized for that action, although it had the wide support of the Triumvirate at the time.
After that, Speaker-Rrit has been less willing to delegate authority, although the several times that he has since then Razak has performed admirably.
