Parthia has not reformed its justice system since 1595. The effects of this are pronounced: criminals are punished horribly for offenses; the death penalty is an option for most crimes; and victims have rights over those who harmed them. However, many things considered criminal offenses in other countries, such as possession of drugs, are not considered criminal in Parthia, only actions which are ones which cause direct harm to others or to the government.

Parthian death sentences are ranked in order of precedence from 'most forceful' to 'least forceful'

  • 1. Scaphism
  • 2. Impaling
  • 3. Burning or roasting
  • 4. Other deaths not falling into afore-mentioned categories (such as mauling by animals)
  • 5. Hanging by crane
  • 6. Beheading
  • 7. Long drop hanging
  • 8. Firing squad
