Kajali
Kajali are a humanoid race hailing from the planet Kajal within the Pleiades cluster.
Appearance
Kajali appear physically similar to persons originating from the Indian subcontinent on Earth. In addition, Kajali also share the trait of pointed ears with Elves, and both genetic and archeological research has indicated that it is possible that the Kajali are descended from an older race, with a lifespan that was lengthened artificially to be indefinite. It is thought that the technology of the Ancient Kajali, as they have been termed, was comparable in some aspects to that of the Necrontyr.
Lifespan
At current, the Kajali lifespan is estimated to be indefinite. Imperatrix Keral of Kajal was born in 1066BDE, placing her birth in the last two centuries of the First Age of Kajal, synonomous with the Dark Ages of Earth. The Kajali lifespan was initially finite, though comparable of that of the Eldar. Advanced medical technology and artificial means such as genetic engineering, or treatments similar to those available within Sol (ReJuv, for example), have eliminated the 'natural' causes of death and aging.
