Karl Xavier XIII, called the Great (Karl Xavier Paul Wilhelm Alois Rudolphus Manfred Von Bouze) was the last Grand Duke of Kasnyia and a member of the House of Aloerberg-Denritter-Aboon.

He is considered by Kasnyians to be one of the nation's greatest rulers in history. Not only is he revered by the Kasnyians as a benevolent figure in Kasnyian culture, but is also know for his (successful) attempts to bring Kasnyia out of it's self-imposed isolation (a process that would later be referred to as the Great Opening), which it had been in for 400 years. It was also during his reign that Kasnyia expanded immensely. There is even some talk of appointing the term "Emperor" to him post-humously as a sign of respect, considering that it was during his reign that the majority of the Kasnyian Empire's colonies were founded.
