Kaza Storm

Kaza Storm are a team in the International Dodgeball League, based in the Progressan capital of Kaza. They also play in the Progressan Dodgeball Association League; their victory in this league last season earned them their place in the international competition.

Player analysis: Her agility, suppleness and fast reactions are her main physical attributes, and as a result her main strength is in dodging. She is also cool-headed and a clutch player; this is particularly valuable as she is often the last player standing.

Retired from rhythmic gymnastics aged 21 and switched to dodgeball, joining Yuzisan XTreme at 23 and moving to Kaza Storm three years later.
Player analysis: An all-action player who has made spectacular dodges and catches - she is frequently dubbed 'The Pocket Playmaker'. In her rookie season at Yuzisan XTreme, she famously executed a split leap over a low-flying Big Ball thrown at speed by Srittik Kyiu, who played for Nortenai Lightning at the time. Both players have since moved to Kaza Storm.

Background: former football goalkeeper, briefly part of the famous Chedar-Edma youth programme; eventually signed by Capitolians, for whom he made 23 first-team appearances conceding 33 goals; retired at 26, unable to find a new club after Capitolians released him to reduce their crippling wage bill; joined Kaza Storm a year later.
Player analysis: The most balanced member of the team, he has adequate throwing and dodging ability but is most notable for his catching - as perhaps might be expected from a former goalkeeper. Also a cool-headed clutch player with a tendency to perform at his best in key situations.

Background: Left school at 19 with a Level Three(A) score of 666/1200, including 180 in PE; joined Kaza Storm's youth programme during his first year at Kaza Sporting Specialist College and was given his first-team debut soon afterwards; also played quarterback in the school gridiron team and still wears the eye paint he wore in that role.
Player analysis: The youngest member of the team, Mert is most notable for his throwing ability, though his inexperience can mean he is caught out of position and his dodging ability is unexceptional. Has a tendency to deflect balls flying in his direction rather than attempting catches.

Player analysis: Lacks speed and dodging ability but has a rocket arm and good positional awareness; his experience, awareness and leadership skills make him an ideal team captain.
