Overview

The Kegmenistani military is the largest in the Alliance and is a well-trained, efficient and well-equipped machine. It has a seen a number of actions in recent years with conflicts in Perpendiculum, Magnusabre, Distortopia, Walschland and the DSUT.

Ground Forces

In all there are around 55,500,000 personnel excluding the civilian workforce clearly making it the largest around. It is split into Expeditionary Forces and the Territorial Guard with around 11,100,000 in the former divided equally between 30 forces and 44,400,000 in the latter divided equally between 60 Guard groups.

The Expeditionary Forces

The Expeditionary Forces are what make the front line of defence and the first wave of attack within the Kegmenistani Armed Service. Each Expeditionary Force consists of 370,000 men and women. This number includes all associated personnel and enough seamen or airmen to transport the entire Force in one movement. They are provided with enough arms, armour and equipment to stand-alone for months at a time should the need arise. Each Force contains 37 Marine Regiments, 37 Airborne Regiments, 37 Armour Regiments, 18 Artillery Regiments, 74 Infantry Regiments and 203 Mechanized Regiments.

The Territorial Guard

The Territorial Guard don’t often see action more than what they see during national emergencies but that shouldn’t be taken as an excuse to ignore the potential they might possess. Each Guard “group” has 740,000 servicemen, women and the associated staff that are required to maintain them during service. Unlike the EF’s, however, they do not possess the means to transport themselves across waters.

The Air Service

The Naval Service

The Commissars

The Commissars are the military elite of Kegmenistan. Each one is hand picked by The Patriarch for his courage, determination and leadership during action. There are only ever 30 Commissars at any one time. A Commissar takes control in larger conflicts with a Combat Group (at least three EF’s). They are given complete autonomy to direct the forces that fall under their jurisdiction in any manner they see fit. A CG headed by a Commissar is something to be feared indeed. Troops will fight with a vigour and conviction the likes of which is rarely seen outside of the Church.
