Kelssekian beer
Kelssekian beer ranges from the popular lagers to the more exotic lambic beers, a technique imported by Jean Prudhomme in the 18th century. Monasteries also produce some of the premium products, known as Trappist beers, which should be distinguished from the Abbey beers which are made commercially with licence from the monastery which owns the recipe for the beer. A flourishing microbrewery culture can be found in Kirkenes, which is reputed as a beer afcionado's paradise. This owes much to the efforts of the Kirkenes Microbreweries Association. Kelssek's beer industry is massive and beers play a large role in both regional and national identities.
Kelssekian beer can be easily found throughout the world despite IFTA restrictions on trade with non-signatories, since customs officials generally do not bother inspecting outgoing cargo except when dealing with organised crime activity (particularly the export of recreational drugs, which are legal in Kelssek but not in most other nations) or politically sensitive goods like natural resources. Kirkanee, Antlers and Olson are the most commonly found overseas.
