Founded in 1979 by Jonathon Keryan, Keryan Inc. is Neo-Erusea's one of the only private companies in Neo-Erusea. It has buildings all over Neo-Erusea, and its headquarters in in Fabion. Keryan specializes in designing military weaponry for Neo-Erusea, but since Jonathon is the Neo-Erusean dictator's half-brother, Keryan Corp is allowed more freedom than most citizens and has its own paramilitary.
History
The Keryan Corporation was born on 13 March, 1979. It began as a company that designs military vehicles. Since then it has grown into a large corporate empire that controls all private technology design, military design/manufactoring, and has expanded to creating toys, civilian vehicles, and machines for practical use. By expanding its range of products Keryan Inc makes over 140 billion dollars a year. In 1992 Keryan Inc and the Neo-Erusean government begen to colaborate in space exploration and technology. Together the Neo-Erusean Space Administration and the corporation have created countless satellites, rockets, and are currently working on building a space shuttle.
In November of 1988 Keryan was sued by a foriegn government. Keryan Corp had purchased a key monopoly that controlled the Sulatumese market. With control of Sulatum, the government and public protested about the high prices implamented by the corporation and ordered it to come to a Sulatumese court. Keryan Inc then pleaded to the Neo-Erusean government for help. The NE government denied Sulatum's request and the two countries amost went to war. But soon a riot started in Sulatum and the country economicly collapsed. After that incident the NE dictator allowed Keryan Corp to maintain a paramilitary, as long as it swore its alligence to Neo-Erusea. The Keryan Corp agreed and instantly the corporation began to build its armed forces. In 3rd April, 2003 Keryan Inc merged with Neo-Erusean Military Industries to form Neucom Incorporated.
Products
Even though it started out making military weapons, Keryan Inc designs and builds a variety of tactical and practicle devices. While the Neo-Erusean government is only interested in Keryan's military technology, the company has expanded its specialties to technology for practical uses. Such things include, but are not limited to, computers, robotic devices, lasers of all sorts, cars, and civil aircraft. The Keryan Corp's products are best sellers in the country and they have put most other companies from within the same Neo-Erusean product sectors out of business. Most of Keryan Inc's competition comes from foreign markets. But even then, Neo-Erusea is still trying to experiment with free enterprise, and will go to any means to defend the corporation, whether it be to impose tariffs or to ban the foriegn product altogether.
