Khristian factions

Background

The Khristian people have always been divded into large clans or families, but these families have changed names, split, and vanished entirely over the course of time. As it now stands, only these families remain important.

The Ikatorist Alliance

The Ikatorist Alliance is controlled by the Ikatori family. Originally this family was a subdivison of the Izumi family but because of thier liberal and peacful ideals, they were banished to Mars by the Second Quin Izumi. On Mars thier leader became Peter Ikatori, a cousin of Quin Izumi. Peter Ikatori eventually became leader of the entire Khristian people until his murder which began the Third Khristian Civil War. This Alliance though, contains more than just members of the Ikatori family. It contains all of those Khristians who will fight to preserve Peter Ikatori's vision of a united, peaceful Khristian people.

Neo Zionitikiri

Neo Zionitikiri is the Khristian state on Earth. Governed primarly by the Itori and Itari families, Neo Zionitikiri contains the bulk of the Khristian population at 2 billion people. The Government wishes to maintain a neutral stance in this civil war, but is more likely to back the Ikatorists than the Izumists. Out of all the Khristian factions though, they are the most passive and submissive.

Qaaol-Khrista

Qaaol-Khrista began as a peaceful, almost utopian state carved out of Qaaolchouraav Mars, but it wasn't meant to be. Originally it had been the center of the new Khristian government, but with the Tyranid invasion, territory on Earth was quickly aquired and the government moved. Then the territory became a sprawling military complex, containing the bulk of the Khristian Confederacy's military. The Itaryu family was given charge of the war-torn wasteland as a sort of pseudo-dynstatical dictatorship. The area has been further plagued by the Volarian Incident.

Given thier hardline military attitude, the populous of Qaaol-Khrista sympathisizes more with the Izumists, but many servicemen have joined the Alliance.

The Izumist Order

The Izumi family has been important in Khristian politics for hundreds of years. Often manipulating the other factions behind the scenes, their goal is to establish a pure Izumo-Khristian state and begin to reclaim Khristian land lost on Earth and Mars. They have not forgotten any of the atrocitied committed against the Khristian people and they have not forgiven any of those nations who committed those atrocities. They have formed thier own sect of Christian beliefs and rely heavily on force and violence to accomplish thier goals. Many Khristians have come under thier influence, including thier current 'leader', Daniel Byblos.

Other Families

On Mars, the Tora-Byblos family is dispersed throughout nations such as Wazzu, Dajdbog, Stribog, Mangala, Sunset, and Valinon. Originally a major political faction, they have settled down and fallen back into obscurity and peace.

The Damon family was given rule over the extrasolar colony of Zara-Khrista and thier political influence remains limited.
