Overview
Only son of the crazed king Sven VIII, Prince John avoided and was afraid to confront his abusive father. He spent most of his life in Vien and also at the royal palace at Haå. Upon hearing of his father's escape from the prison train in 1901, he apparently jumped into a motor car and headed for the opposite direction. He ascended the throne on Anunciation day, 1901.
Reign
Sven IX formed a new national library system and completly preserved the old library's collection. He met with industralists like Henry Ford and Rudolph Diesel and ushered in industry into the country. In 1912, he ordered the construction of the Rudolph Diesel bridge to Troyes and construction of a Rigi railway through Goern Pass. News of his distant cousin Archduke Franz Ferdinand being assasinated, he ordered the country to observe the death for 1 minuite and then resume businesse. In 1917, the german cruiser Moltaaben attempted to dock but the HRS Ruryk managed to defend the port's neutrality.
Post War
After the war, the country seemed to breathe easier. The industry boomed and large marbled and columed buildings appeared in growing metropolises. Cars had become widespread with big connections from the Ford Motor Company. In 1929, Popeleoman demand for cars sky rocketed and kept Ford afloat slightly. Sven IX soon fell into poor health. He fell into comatose on November 29, 1931. He died on December 31st, 1931.
