Kino Turell

Kino Turell the Island Cheif of Corona, and subject to an upcomming motion picture by Sakura Taisen is a now famous poltical and historical figure. He was kidnapped and killed by militant forces unkown only belived to be from the Dictorial State of RedTide 2. He was one of the co-signees to the AHSCA Delceration of Independence and co-drafter of the constitution, which may have ultimatley led to his death.

Early Life

Because of the primative conditions of the AHSCA islands including Corona what is known about Kino is only known to thoes who have known him. However many of Kino's freinds and family were killed in the war, and his parents died soon after he became cheif. What is known from accounts of his wife Ayla is that Kino courted Ayla for a short while. Both fell in love and were offically married by the Cheif. It was shortly after his marriage that Kino was asked to be cheif. His age is also a mystery because no accurate records are kept. Coronans see them selves as timeless figures from birth to death. They keep no track of time and no records of time or births.

Acention to Cheif

Kino became cheif after weeks of rigerous tasks. This included walking a thin line over the pit of a volcano sailing around the island in a storm and duling several others. He was named cheif after sucesfully completing all tasks. He proved to be very popular amongst his people, and always found ways to settle disputes with compromise or just reason. He was even known to convince people they were wrong even though they were too proud to admit it the first time around. Following any major storm or hurricane Kino was the first out of the shelter to rebuild the huts of other islanders before his own. Ayla was also at his side when ever he was doing this. He also took care of the children when parents went away on long trips and helped orphaned ones find famlies on the island.

When the idea of a protection pact was first proposed Kino was hesitant but convinced by Shino Nano to agree. Kino signed and convinced Ayla to sign. Ayla stated she didn't think Kino regreted even when the islands fell under seige. Following the first Hanover Conflict (Kino didn't paticularly like the GDI peace keeperes in The area. According to Ayla GDI peacekeepers often would comeonto the beaches of Corona with out consideration. Kino learned English just to plead with them to leave his people in peace. These accounts are unfounded and soley based on the testimoney of Ayla Turell.

The War

When the island chain was dragged into a large scale war Kino took up armes to fight off the invaders. When RT2 came ashore in Corona Kino fought them as best off as he could. Ayla was busy trying to get as many people off the island as possible to an island to the north. When the counter invasion failed Kino and the rebelion fled Corona to Aurora Island. Following the great storm which forced most of the major forces out, the island leaders including Ayla and Kino felt it was time to declare their independence. Several small uprisings had occured earlier on Hoshino, Truce and Corona, and RT2 was forced off of Animalpolis which gave them confidence. However declaring indpendence proved to be widley unsucessful and everyone came back with a vengance.

As RT2 began to rear into Crona's waters Kino knew it would be dangerous. He knew if he didn't surrender his people would be slaughtered. Unable to live with that Kino surrenderd himself but not before sending his wife away to safety. Kino surrendered and according to witnesses was taken by a group of unknown RedTiden soldiers. RT2 has stated these soldiers were not offically with the main forces but didn't deny responsiblity of Kino's kidnapping. With Shino in the hands of Independendent Hitmen Kino didn't stand a chance. His body was discovered weeks later by Aleardian soldiers doing peace keeping and humanitarian work on the island. Ayla was promoted to cheif and his body was put under autopsey. Several unknown chemicals were found in his body. He was honerably burned and his ashes spreaded shortly after the autopsey
