Knights of the Order of the Temple of the Holy Grail

  • Established: c. 75 AD
  • Contact: His Highness Prince Kardiez of Listeneisse, Knight Grand Cross (KGC)
  • Headquarters: Carbonek, Listeneisse
  • Type: GO
  • Aid Available: Food, potable water, medical supplies and teams, military and security assistance, air transport/medical evac, construction, mobile hospitals.

Sometimes shortened to the "Knights of the Holy Grail" or "Grail Templars," today this is an elite fighting force (divisional strength, approx. 17,000 personnel). Yet they also act as relief aid workers.

They switch between roles often as circumstances warrant.

The Grail Templars are not part of the military directly. Rather than report to the Lord Marshal and Minister of Defense, or even to the Royal Constable and the Minister of the Interior, they report to the Archbishop, as they are part of the Church of Listeneisse (which is responsible for their budget and moral guidance), and directly to the King, as he is both the Defender of the Faith as well as the head of state.

They are commanded by Prince Kardiez of Listeneisse, the King's eldest son. However, he has relinquished all claim upon the throne to lead the Grail Templars.
