General
Population
The population is about 150 millions, but is in rapid grow. The preponderant religion in the Roman Catholicism, but before the Kofnar Feminist Revolution it was Atheism.
History
The Italian colonisation
In May 1935, the Italian troops in Africa found a passage to the actual NationStates world. They causually find a desert region, just next to the Democratic Plutocracy of New Caldari, the biggest state in area. They founded the Region of Kofnar. Kofnar lived like a normal Italian colony until 1944.
The Indipendence War
In 1944, the Italian dictatorship becomed more and more restrictive because of the World War II. Some Kofnarian rebeled and costrained the Italian troops in Kofnar to exit from the portal. In April 1944 the portal inaspectatly vanished.
The Imperial Kofnar
Kofnar becomed an Holy Constitutional Empire. The first Emperor was Riccardo Massimi, known as Riccardo I, nominated in 1943 as Governor, and in October 1944 as Emperor. During this time the known Kofnarian culture formed. The next Emperor was Amedeo Adolfi (known as Amedeo I), in 1960, and the last male was Riccardo Antonelli (Riccardo II, 1985), famous for inserting the nation in the Federation of Allied Nations. In this period the coalition known as New Mondial Order of Kofnar tried a revolution, blocked by the Imperial Army. Riccardo I losed the power in 2006, for the Kofnar Feminist Revolution.
Kofnar Feminist Revolution

May 20 2006, at 7:30, Riccardo II, was killed by the troops of Isa Neri, head of the Movimento Femminista Kofnariano. The feminist ideologies (see article) of that movement substituted the old one. Isa Neri becomed Emperor Isa I. The new government emanated the racial laws for reducing men's rights. Kofnar changed name ("The Holy Female Empire of Kofnar") and flag.
Kofnar State Organization
State Form
The Holy Female Empire of Kofnar is an pseudo-constitutional Empire, formed by the two governative organs: the Emperor and the Council. The council is formed by 500 universally elected representant and an Head of Council. Actually only women are admitted to the Council. The Emperor and the Council have the legislative power, and laws are emanated if more of the 60% of the Council and the Emperor agree. The esecutive and giudiciary powers is assigned to the OKO.

Cities
The greatest city is of course the capital Nuova Roma, in the District of Costanuova. Other major cities are Montedorato, Pevia and Montenero.
