Köpstet aan Eikel is one of the most highly situated towns in Neeutegeen. It has brought the town his name - köp=high and stet=town. It has a very fine climate and has also beautiful winters. In the 19. century was Köpstet heavily industialized, largely rooted weaving, glassmaking and shoemaking. Presently, the city profits from tourism.
