The ITV Regional Republic of LWT (known as simply The Republic of LWT until November 2003) was founded on the 12th March 2003, from the remains of the television channel that served London Weekends from August 1968 to October 2002. The palace at South Bank is where the leader currently resides, complete with several pet Peacock-Sues (the nation's national animal). It became a member of the United Nations on the 27th April 2003, and its national anthem is the jazzy startup tune "A Well Swung Fanfare".
One of the most common questions regarding this nation is what the letters 'LWT' stand for. They stand for London Weekend Television.

Region History
After quickly moving out of The Pacific LWT's region was first Television World, a region mainly comprised of other former and present British television channels (LWT would later become the UN Delegate there). But despite reaching a peak of around 13 nations at one time, the region's popularity eventually waned, and so LWT moved from the now defunct region of Television World to the now defunct region of TVRules. Though this was a more American centric region, LWT settled here for a long time.
But by August 2004 there were only 3 nations in this region, so Bloodmoon-Hyperion, founder of the busy region of BHE Fleet Station Vanguard, telegrammed LWT and invited it there. King William supported the idea, and continued in the region until the 10th May 2005, when all UN nations were asked to move to the region of Bloodmoon Empire. That has been the nation's home since then.
