The Labor Party is one of the few major political parties in the Revolutionary Republic of Wazistan.

The Labor Party was formed in 1994 when Leftist members of the Islamic Liberal Party broke away after a disagreement with the Centrist management of the ILP. Since then the Party has held a majority in Parliament only once under the leadership of fmr. Prime Minister Malik Salom. Since losing the majority, the Party has been a minor party in Parliament, only recieving 20-30% in Parliamentary elections.

The current leader is MP Fadil al-Maskikh.

Governing Party

The Governing Body of the Labor Party is the Executive Committee, which compose of 109 members. The Committee provides national leadership and is responsibile for promoting the Party's platform and developing the Party's policies. The Committee also coordinating fundraising and aides party candidates in elections.

The current Chairman is Mahmoud Rasfinj.
