Lalana Ghosh is an Ariddian reporter who works for Public International News Ariddia (PINA).

Born and raised in Wavecrest, she obtained a doctoral thesis in climatology from the Southern University, and continued her reasearch in that field while expanding her interest to a broad range of environmental and other sciences. She worked as an environmental advisor on the Wavecrest municipal council before being recruited by PINA.

She is now one of PINA's main reporters on sciences and technology, specialising in environmental issues.

She is the author of The Ostrich Approach: Profits Worth Killing For, denouncing companies and governments which inflict severe damage on the environment. She has also published a booklet listing multinational companies which have implemented policies for environmental sustainability, and detailing those policies, their effectiveness and their limitations.
