Lanier was a long-time member of the West Pacific. In early 2004, he chaired The West Pacific's Second Constitutional Convention (ConConII), and is credited with having done much of the work in the creation of the present government form of the West Pacific. He was elected its first Prime Minister (elected, or some sort of interim position?).
Lanier was also a noted Senator of The Meritocracy, excelling in debate and discussions within its hallowed halls.
