Mr. Laurens-Jan Brinkhorst is the Knootian minister of Economic Affairs, and as such he was been in charge of the Knootian economy for several decades, serving in vastly different coalition governments but always maintaining his post. The EIVD intelligence agency reports to him.
The Minister of Economic Affairs is a member of the social-liberal SLP party
