Laxtu Takil was born in Hetkali, but his family came from nanti lik~hat. He played for Hetkali Hetaki domestically and was selected for the first national team by Hexen Imdila. The midfielder was one of the remarkable players.

After his active career, Laxtu Takil coached several H1SR teams and later became even coach of the Orange-Blues. After World Cup 17, he resigned because he felt "it is best to leave when things are great" (quote Laxtu Takil). During his time as coach, he was known for being defensive minded. His highly defensive tactics, caused Teke Daran to be displeased with him. After one of the many discussions, Laxtu Takil let the Orange-Blues play 2-3-5. This didn't change the mind of the president of the ASR but created the term System Takil.
