Lead Phoenix is a large, international terrorist organization with cells in several dozen countries. They mainly attack governments and groups, rarely individuals unless they are leaders.

History

Founded on 8 August 1980 by Jim Sampson in Sel Appa as a group to "support choice, eliminate homosexuality, protect the environment, and to prevent religon from invading the public." They carried out hundreds of demonstrations, but never passed 250 members. In 1984, Sampson mysteriously vanished and ex-general Mark Alexander took over with a radical new agenda. He restructured and militarized the group. Each member was trained in arms and bomb-making. As attacks began to unfold and the organization spread out of Sel Appa, membership soared to around 28,000 in 1990. Over the next decade, membership soared to an estimated 75,000 and attacks became more frequent. It also spread across the world, opening up cells in about 70 nations.

Often it was established as a business and if ever investigated, a bribe would usually clear the "issue" up. However, around May 2000 the group's activity came to a mysterious halt. They couldn't be found anywhere and their buildings were empty. In a few months, though, the buildings were restaffed, but no new attacks came. This has continued for five years. Some point to it as a sign of the organization's waning. Others say that they might be trying to calm everyone down for a surprise.

Recent Activity

There are rumors that Lead Phoenix has gone defunct. Indeed, many countries have found abandoned buildings and warehouses, not unlike what happened in 2000. Mark Alexander has not been heard from in at least two years and it has been theorized that he is actually dead.

Organization

Because it is a paramilitary organization, the organization is largely unknown except what is publicly acknowledged. The overall leader is Vizier Mark Alexander, who is completely on top. Below him are national cell bosses and then local cell bosses. After that it descends in military-like ranks. The exact titles are often stated as seen below.

  • Vizier
  • General (national cell boss)
  • Captain (local cell boss)
  • Lietenant
  • Sergeant
  • Corporal
  • Soldier
  • Associate

Funding

The group is funded somewhat by "legitimate" fundraisers, but allegedly Sel Appa and De Jewish Mafia contribute massive amounts of money and support. Such statements are supported by the fact that there is a complete lack of attacks against government buildings in those nations.
