Lex Panarii was, for most of his career, a semi-professional football player alongside being a Professor of History at the Jhanna Praetoran University, where he coached the University football team. He eventually signed a professional contract with Iskara Daii and doubtless would have played many times for the Starblaydia Under-21s and Starblaydia national football team, had it not been for Starblaydia's international football hiatus.

Luckily for Lex, the combative defensive midfielder's career lasted into his thirties and he made his début at the age of thirty-one in the 20th Atlantian Oceania Cup of Association Football, where he made seven appearances and scored one goal, against Schiavonia in a two-nil win. Lex was, by this time, the captain of Iskara Daii, and were it not for the veteran Kili Izretar, who played before the hiatus, he would have captained his country, too. He was also selected for the Baptism of Fire squad in the holding role.
