The Liberal Party is the smaller of the two main political parties in New Sequoyah.

  • Economy: Socialistic in nature
  • Taxes: High taxes on the wealthy and corporations, moderate taxes for middle class, no taxes for lower class
  • Abortion: Strongly support
  • Death penalty: Oppose
  • Euthanasia: Support
  • Gay marriage: Support
  • Drugs: For the legalizing of drugs like marijuana, cocaine, etc.
  • Welfare: Strongly supports welfare state
  • Education: Opposes homeschooling and private schools, strongly supports government-run public schools.
  • Immigration: Open borders, no regulation of immigration
  • Religious beliefs: Separation of Church and State, somewhat anti-Christian
  • Military: Favors small military, UN peacekeepers

The Liberal Party in Congress

The Liberal Party comprises the minority in both houses of Congress. In the Senate, 28% of the seats are held by Liberals, and in the House of Representatives, 32% of seats are Liberal-controlled.
