The Liberal Party of Eagmont was founded in 1760 by Sir George Watsons, the 1st President of Eagmont. It was known as the Wiggs party, but since the 1800's it has been known as the Liberal Party or the Imperial Liberals. The party today stands for liberal conservatism, with dashes of modernism and traditionalsm in there too.

The Party has been in Government 5 out of the 27 times parliament has sat.
