The Libertarian Party is one of the four main political parties in Wuddup. It is currently the most powerful political party in the nation.
Platform and Ideology
- Economy: Gives choices to consumers, allows them large amounts of economic freedom.
- Taxes: Supports low tax rates, but often taxes high to fund extensive service programs.
- Freedom of Speech: Right to free speech is absolute.
- Gun Control: Guns allowed for hunting. Government has program to arm militias in case of foreign invasion.
- Abortion: Supports abortion rights, regulates procedures and qualifications.
- Death Penalty: Supports.
- Euthanasia: Supports.
- Same-Sex Marriage: Opposes, but supports civil unions.
- Gambling: Supports legalization.
- Drugs: Legalization of marijuana, decriminalization of other drugs.
- Prostitution: Legal, but regulated.
- Immigration: Access depends on relations with other countries. Supports amnesty for current illegal aliens from friendly nations.
- Education: Supports school choice, but opposes vouchers.
- Religious Beliefs: Most Libertarians declined to state their beliefs, but census has shown a wide range from Evangelical Christian to New-Age.
- Military: Larger and more powerful during wartime, less of a priority during peacetime. Opposes conscription.
