List of political parties in Hallevor

Hallevor has had a Democracy since it's founding. When the Graham Regime came into practice even then it still feigned Democracy. Here's a list of parties both current and historical.

Current parties

Major Parties

• The Objectivist Party was founded by William Miller in 1963. Three years before the Freedom War. William Miller founded the idea of State Objectivism which was influenced by the writings of Ayn Rand and Leonard Peikoff. The party idea was mainly Anti-Collectivism and Individualist Sovereignty. However Miller's idea was to outline the party with basic Objectivist thought. Since his death however the party philosophy has mainly been based on Minarchist and Libertarian thought, especially on the economic ideals of Milton Friedman. (53.7% of citizens are registered to the Objectivist Party)
• The Traditionalist Party was founded by Ronald Rockwell in 1987. Mainly it was derived from Conservative thought and through out time grew a large amount of support from the evangelist minorities. While the dominant amount of party members are secular traditionalists, the religious traditionalists have more power and a better established base with in the party. Eventually the Fascist Party fused with the Traditionalist Party. (21.3% of citizens are registered to the Traditionalist Party)
• The Socialist Party was founded by Darryl Peterman in 1982. The backbone of the party philosophy lies mainly in the thoughts of Leon Trotsky and Karl Marx. However Peterman was shot a couple of years after, and hte Socialist Party begun to take a more liberal approach to everything. (10.0% of citizens are registered to the Socialist Party)

Minor Parties

• The Anarchist "Party" is made up mainly of a growing minority of Anarchists and like-minded Professors. It has a think-tank meeting every month. The motto "No State No Oppression" is chanted every 1st of the month. The Anarchist Party is not technically a party but it does have representatives in the Senate and a few mayors and city officials.
• The Neo-Communist Party was founded by members of the Socialist Party who became disillusioned with the growing main-stream liberalism of the new Socialist Party. It stands by the philosophies of Trotsky in addition to the philosophies of Vladimir Lenin and Noam Chomsky.
• The Statist Party is an unofficial party founded by loyalists to the old Communist regime of Graham. In later years it became a spokes-party for Evangelical Christian Statism and became a more extreme sub-denomination of the Traditionalist Party.

Former parties of note

Post-Communist Era

• The Fascist Party was founded upon the principles of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler. It shortlived and it was thought to be a joke, but when the Traditionalist Party seized it into it's Evangelist minority rank there was a nation-wide uproar.

Graham Era

• The Old Communist Party founded upon the ideals of Thomas Hallevor, considered to be the bloodiest party in the history of Hallevor. Despite the fact that Thomas Hallevor's intentions were honorable, Leonard Graham took over the party when it came into power. It was manipulated ot be a Statist party and eventually became modeled after Josef Stalin and his philosophies of state. The major difference was the state church of Evangelical Christianity which was founded by the devout Leonard Graham to support his Cult of Personality.

Old Republic Era

• The Republican Party was based on the philosophy of Thomas Jefferson and John Locke. Mainly people who held that the state was the puppet of the people, not the other way around. Started the federal republic.
• The Federalist Party was for giving more power to the state but also maintaining liberties. They were based off of numerous philosophies, the main one being that of Alexander Hamilton.
• The Loyalist Party was a party of aristocrats and elitists who were loyal to the Falforean Throne. The only philosophy they had was a chauvinist Loyalism to the King of Falforea. They died out ten years into the Old Republic.
