Organisation Fédérale de Diffusion (OFD [English: Federal Broadcasting Organisation], German: Bundessendeanstalt or BSA [English: Federal Broadcasting Agency]) is the official state-funded broadcaster in Liverpool England. However, it is not run by the state.
Contents
Name
The official name of the organisation is the French one, Organisation Fédérale de Diffusion. However, this is name (and the accompanying acronym) is only used in its French broadcasts. All other broadcasts use the German acronym BSA. To complicate things further, the primary broadcast language of the BSA/OFD is English. However, as there is no official English name, all English-language stations have to use the BSA acronym.
Broadcasts
There are seven television and four radio stations under the OFD. Of these, nearly all (except BSA Two on TV and BSA SportThree on radio) are available internationally. However, currently the stations are only broadcast in Liverpool England (and WeatherWatch across The Heartland). Of the six TV stations, four broadcast in English, two in French and one in German. There is also one French-language radio station, but no German one. Additionally, Radio Ad'ihan International is also simulcast overnight on Radio BSA Two (and the French version on OFR). The broadcast headquarters of OFD television are in Orean, while the radio headquarters are in Ad'ihan.
