History and Character: Post arrival in Aberdeen

(Note, pre-arrival history shall be dealt with in the Zerg History section)

Daughter of Sarah Kerrigan, the Zerg Queen of Blades. After driving back those known only as the destroyers to the Xel-Naga (the creators of the Zerg), locking their only entrance into this galaxy and avenging her mother's death, Liz left the remants of the Zerg Empire. Having never wanted the power her mother craved for, she returned to her mother's homeworld with a small force of Zerg that she kept as pets. There she met the Angel Fire who's brutal nature appealed to her (having only ever known war). Her Zerg she released to the wild, feeling they belonged there and she chose to enter service in the Angel Fire military rather than become an assassin like her recruiter. Due to her experience, she quickly rose through the ranks to her current position of Lieutenant Field Marshall before being handed an assignment that played heavily to her history - the formation of a Zerg army.

She is a brilliant strategist - capable of leading troops both on and off the field. She is vicious and brutal, though she holds a calm logic to those she employs it on. If you have not earned her wrath, she is civil and can even be kind to allies. However, she is strict and responds sharply. She can be quick to anger when not in battle, but when she is in battle, her emotions are always under control. She prefers to use her built-in weapons over items such as guns to do her killing.

That said, it is well known that sex with this woman is certain death. Her orgasm results in an uncontrollable release of all her implants - including her claws which go right through the lungs of any man she's with. However, she still loves sex and uses the brutal rule of the Angel Fire as a way to acquire new mates. That said, many consider her infertile due to the fact that it is believed she has never used protection and still has yet to produce any offspring. Those in the know, however, know that she has been merely doing a game of genetic manipulation within her womb - collecting the chromosomes given by the sperm that she receives and slowly combining them - creating new chromosomes that she intends to one day become the first fertilizer of an egg within her womb (though there's a possibility some eggs have already been fertilized, only to be mentally aborted so her project produces, what she feels is, the perfect offspring).

If you have incited her wrath of made a personal insult, you are also likely to die to her claws. For the lesser insults (if they are made by men), she makes the insulter her next mate. For the greatest ones (or the females who insulted her), however, she saves a move known as the gutter. Simply, she launches her claws through the gut of her victim, right at the base of the rib cage. Her claws extend past the backside of the ribcage and up, shredding the heart and lungs of her victim. She then raises her victim at least half a foot off the ground (she will make sure the wound is over her head) and watches the victims eyes: waiting for all signs of life to leave them. Like the Angel Fire, she likes the taste of the blood of her victims - but only those who have earnt her greatest wrath.

Appearance

Standing a mere 4'11", Liz Paul is not what one would call frightening. Dark skinned (she was born with pale white skin, but it has since darkened due to the Zerg implants), with hazel eyes, no noticeable scars, her black hair tied into two pigtails that rode halfway down her back (past her butt if she undid them) and normally wearing clothing that rode up on the waist on the back side, kept the top of the back open, clearly never wears a bra, and wearing a loose, knee-length skirt with slight rips in the side, many found her appearance to be more the school girl that they would love to nail but would probably be arrested for pediophilia if they tried. Only in Angel Fire would such clothing be permitted in the military.

However, these features only make her even more dangerous, for many believe she is even more deadly than the Angel Fire. Claws that once permanently extended across the top of her fingers now retract and extend at will - normally hiding within her arms. Beneath her shoulder blades are her wings which extend out of her back at the edge of the shoulder blades and through the open area in the back of her shirts. While they are capable of giving her flight abilities, she more often uses them as armor - for their leathery hide can repel any non-explosive bullet, can withstand most explosions, and has nerve endings combined with being the fastest healing part of her body (fast enough that most pistols will have any marks they leave fully healed before the next bullet is in the chamber). She also has a foot long tail - though it is more than capable of stretching to a full length of 6 feet. Her skin can harden and thicken if she so desires - thick enough that it is as resistant to weapons fire as most Kevlar armor. Combined, when she is in battle mode, she is one of the most fearsome sights.

Toys

While she occasionally will extend her claws, she is almost never seen with another object on her. In situations where she expects to be in a gun fight, however, she does wear a pistol on her hip.

History

Childhood

Liz grew up in her father's care. Her mother, Sarah Kerrigan, was busy running an empire so they saw little of each other, and what little they did see of each other was devoted to training for her future role as Zerg Queen. Kerrigan never claimed to be a good mother. So it was her father - the only human she knew - that raised her. He taught her generosity, kindness, devotion and, perhaps most importantly, humility. In the end, her mother's wish to not be overthrown by Jonathon Paul had ended the possibility of an heir maintaining the Zerg Empire as it was. When she was 10, the war with the Destroyers began, bringing forth a much different world for Liz to deal with.

The environment she grew up in and the nourishment she received also stunted her growth. As a result, she grew up being quite a bit shorter than either of her parents.

Conversion

As Kerrigan realized how much she would need to risk if she was to defeat the Destroyers, she decided it was time to put her then 14 year old daughter at the reigns of a Zerg taskforce. Liz was turned into a Zerg Queen, and given command of a task force to operate as the rear guard in case her mother failed. She showed the same tactical brilliance her mother held and was able to deal devestating blows to the Destroyers in her first few missions.

She suffered horribly when her mother was captured and continuously tortured by the Destroyer commander, Graynor. She was able to overcome the torture enough to scrape a few defensive victories, but was unable to actually press any further attacks nor complete her assigned tasks. During this time, her father's flagship was also destroyed, adding to her frustration.

However, she overcame this when her mother was launched into space. Despite the dishonor her mother had been afforded, her mother's final thought was with Liz, and stopped the you woman from succumbing to the rage her counterparts felt.

Queen of Blades

The day of Kerrigan's death and two days before her 15th birthday, Liz Paul was crowned the new Queen of Blades. Her task force wasn't increased and the Commanders of the Alliance assigned her to the rearguard, ignoring Kerrigan's wish for Liz to succeed her in commanding the Zerg forces. Kerrigan wasn't there, and they weren't about to let a child lead the alliance and undoubtedly subject them to the same servitude once the war was over. Liz had proven a capable commander, but she hadn't proven herself to be capable of leading on the scale of the entire alliance. They even ignored Liz's call for calm, claiming that she was too far lost with grief to be able to properly lead.

And so, she defended the rear with a considerably smaller force. As nearly a year passed with decent victories, considerable losses and surprising territorial gains, Liz held the highest kill-to-death ratio of the Alliance and watched with sadness as her mother's alliance slowly walked itself into the trap Graynor had set. When the trap was sprung, Liz found that only her fleet remained outside the trap, and it would be her fleet that decided the fate of the entire galaxy.

Black Mist Campaign

She had known for a while that Graynor was reeling the alliance in. So, she had started what was later known as the Black Mist Campaign almost as soon as the alliance affirmed her position as rearguard. She slowly hid portions of her fleet, bit by bit, into various locations - asteroid belts, nebulae, bases, and various other locations. Graynor had merely accepted it as the Alliance weakening her force so that they could aid their overheated campaign. By the time Graynor's trap had been sprung, she had only 5% of her original fleet sitting in the open.

She moved that fragment on a near suicide trip to break the trap. It humored Graynor that she tried, but any tactician would've seen the necessity of such a maneuver. From Graynor's perspective, that fragment was all that remained of the Alliance's fleet outside the trap. Not interested in having a chance for her to succeed, Graynor moved some forces to try and break her fleet.

Outnumbered 2:1, Liz activated the second stage of her plan. Graynor's maneuver had left weakpoints in his encirclement of the alliance. As she feigned retreat and Graynor's forces took up pursuit, she set a task force about the size of her own to come behind Graynor's pursuers while her other forces struck at one weakpoint. That section had been reduced to a quarter of its original strength and had no hope of holding against the much stronger fleet. Linking up with the rest of the alliance fleet caught in the trap, the hole became the weakpoint that began the rout of Graynor's forces.

Liz was commissioned as Supreme Commander, and in this capacity, she completed the rout of Graynor's forces. She destroyed his fleet, surrounded his flagship and captured him alive. Instead of trying to dishonor Graynor, she insulted him with bogus charges and a fake trial, which she culminated with personally killing the Destroyer Commander.

The Final Campaign

With Graynor dead, the Destroyer Generals were in a disarray. Unable to cope with the new realities around them, they were easily outmaneuvered and quickly defeated. With no coherent general strategy, they couldn't even put together marginal victories and often found their fleets isolated and vastly outnumbered as Liz's forces slowly cleaned up what Destroyers remained. The Destroyers didn't send a new Commander - they didn't have enough time. After 3 months of continual victories and extensive campaigns, the Alliance forces were back where they had been when Kerrigan had died, sitting at the Destroyer's portal. This time, they were successful at closing it, ending the war.

After the War

As the elation of victory subsided, fear began to spread. What sort of ruler now sat at the helm of the Zerg fleet. She had shown herself to be equal to her mother and her slaying of Graynor had shown a viciousness they had grown to fear. Would a new era of tyranny begin? Would she continue her mother's work?

Instead, the 16 year old leader looked to her father's beliefs, and the humility he had once taught her. Instead of solidifying her massive empire, she seperated it. Each cerebret was given it's own hive to command. Each species that had helped during the war was given its territory and freedom back. Servitude was gone. The few species that hadn't joined in the war for survival were given freedom but no land. As her 18th birthday approached, Liz Paul put the final touches on the new era.

However, she couldn't live in it. For the Zerg, she was too human, but she knew no humans. For the rest, she was too Zerg, and old emotions about the Zerg didn't rest easily. Seeing no place for herself there, she left for her the world where both of her parents' had been raised, hoping to find someone who might see her as an equal. She brought with her some low-level Zerg for both protection and so at least she would have something familiar with her.

Shortly after landing, she ran into one Tristan Angel. Tristan immediately saw the value of Liz and was able to relate with the younger woman's feelings of being out of place. When Tristan offered a spot within the Angel Fire military, Liz gladly accepted.

Angel Fire Military

Liz rose through the ranks quickly. Her depth of experience coupled with the knowledge her mother had granted her, she was able to prove herself as a capable leader. Within a year of joining the Angel Fire military, she had attained the rank of Lieutenant Field Marshall, the third highest rank obtainable.

Zerg Master

After the disasterous Law 6 had been passed by Aberdeen, Liz got approval to replace the soldiers that Angel Fire was required to fire with a Zerg force. This prompted outrage from the region, but the regional court acknowledged they were well within their right to. With an army nearly as large as Angel Fire's, Liz held considerable power.

However, she let her thoughts of power run away with her. When Dancing Bananland suffered a terrorist attack, Liz did everything in her power to hunt down the terrorists herself and kill them. She had heard the rumors of Tristan's husband being amongst them and didn't want to see Tristan's power increase. It backfired when the Night Sisters got wind of her plans. Tristan confronted Liz and stopped the Zerg Master's attack.

However, Liz was given command of Angel Fire forces in the Hekloslogravian war, a task that she handled admirably.
