Loamhedge is a region without any particular political, religious or other agenda. It's a place where people from different backgrounds can meet, talk, share ideas, or just hang out.

Government
The government of Loamhedge is divided among several ministers and a legislative body, the Senate. The Constitution of Loamhedge can be found on the off-site forum.
Founder
The Founder is primarily responsible for all operations of the Central Government as acts on behalf of the region of Loamhedge. This position is currently held by Cromulent Peoples.
Prime Minister
The Prime Minister serves as U.N. Delegate and is responsible for the general welfare of Loamhedge and oversees the proper function of the Central Government. This position is currently held by Zombiedolphins.
Minster of the Interior
The Minister of the Interior is responsible for the smooth operation of the politics of Loamhedge and to provide adequate facilities for the member nations. This position is currently held by Hermitistan.
Minister of the Exterior
The Minister of the Exterior is responsible for all diplomatic relations with foreign regions and recruitment. This position is currently held by Larsdaylen. More information of Larsdaylen can be found on its NSWiki entry.
Minister of Defense
The Minister of Defense is responsible for the security of Loamhedge. This position is currently held by Aquaregia.
Senate
The Senate of Loamhedge performs such duties as drafting legislation for the region; approving amendments to this constitution; and creating proposals to present to the United Nations.

History
Hermitistan Founder Era
The first founder of Loamhedge was Hermitistan. In the off-site forum, he had this to say about Loamhedge's beginnings:
A long time ago, maybe a year ago, I made a region with this nation. The region was called the Isle of JK, and it consisted of a couple of my friends and I. We didn't have much luck with it, and I decided I didn't like the name anyaway. So I made a new region. I decided to call it Dragostea Din Tei, most likely because of the shrooms, or I was just being stupid. I made that region, and it was fine. The population was gnerally around 20 or so, but almost no one was active.
As a little side project, I created Loamhedge, to see if I could have better luck doing something else. This I did with ENL, my brother's nation. I recruited a bit, and a nation called Amphitrite of Atlantic was the first nation that came. One of the few I got from initial recruiting, if not the only one.
Meanwhile, Dragostea Din Tei was having some problems. I had decided that the name was stupid, along with most of the people I had attempted to recruit. I can't remember many of the nations that were there, but I could if I went trhough my dossier. I do believe I picked up a few of our current really old nations.
After much debating and procrastinating, I decided we would all move to Loamhedge. Some people resisted, and the region is still there. Quite funny. Regardless, we all moved here, and thinks started looking up. We gained some of our best members, and Warrior Princesses was very helpful trying to get us to become decent defenders and such.

Cromulent Peoples Era
After AA's absence and subsequent ceasing to exist, a vote was taken and it was decided that Cromulent Peoples would become the new founder of Loamhedge. He is the current founder.
Foreign Relations
Alliances
In April, 2007, the Loamhedge government approved a defense alliance with the region of Tallisa Islands.
