Lombardo Class Transport Airship
The Lombardo Class Transport Airship is a helium filled, rigid airship created by Franberrian Airships. The airship is a very effective way to deploy large amounts of men to areas were you normally could not. It is also very effective as a transport, as it can carry large amounts of men, faster than a boat, and can carry more than an airplane (while using less fuel that a fleet of transport airplanes would use). It is advisable (in hostile areas) to move the transport in a convoy formation or with some escorts.
A large Radar/Ladar component is stored in the front of the ship. It can track multiple targets and it can also functions as an AWACS. Should the time for evacuation occur, the crew can quickly exit via the detachable gondola (holds 50) or one of the 50 escape pods (holds 10 each).
