The senate's desire to do this was to make sure the new line of monarchs would be content and not seek to overthrow the senators.

The early dynasty of Kesempt is considered the Imperial Age for Lord'eron, since its borders were larger than they had ever been. Therefore, the kings of the early dynasty were placed in a tomb not far from their palace. Much is unknown of these tombs. The current monarchs have only recently allowed the public to view part of this historic site. The tomb is built like a labyrinth, no order to the underground tunnels which are are lined with imported alabaster. Several funeral pyres and urns can be seen, as can the notches of the wall for the placing of kings, queens, and the entire royal family: aunts, uncles, cousins, and sometimes a good friend of the family given the honor of a place in their tomb.

The first senate to be elected met in the upper room of a tavern. The first issue addressed was the construction of a senate house. One was quickly built from wood on the north city side. As funds increased, marble as placed over the wood. The building consisted of a huge dome held up by pillars all along the sides. Their were no walls since the sessions could be observed by the public. Unfortunately, because the marble was place over the wood and not in place of, the large dome crashed down three hundreds years after construction when the wood had rotted. Luckily, none of the senators were harmed.

The Mestdemets of Lord'eron and the Demetrions came together in 1210 A.F. and decided to construct a cathedral to their god Demetrius. No form of worship is held inside since it was constructed by two separate religious sects; instead it offers a place for personal worship and meditation. The giant bells in the four towers of the cathedral chime the hours and whenever a monarch is crowned, weds, or dies they toll all day.

On the Histod Island in the middle of the Tazor River, King Gegen Kesempt II requested the senate to build a monument to General Halfinis Histod when the famous general, who lead Lord'eron to victory over [[Megorid]] for the first time. The approved the king's request and built a 25ft. tall statue of the general on top of his horse. A large podium, 8 ft. high, holds the statue in place. Geography

A municipal territory of the Federation of Lordaroth. It lies in the middle of the territory of Tazoroth with the Tazor River bisecting it. Its territory is the smallest in all Lordaroth, yet it has the greatest population percentage, 11%. The capital of the territory, Lord'eron City, which is also the national capital. Lord'eron City lies in the middle of Lord'eron territory along the Tazor River. Seventy-seven percent of Lord'eron's population lives in the metropolis of the capital. The rest live in small townships dotting the surrounding heavily farmed river basin.

Economy

The main exports of this territory are manufactured goods, mainly coming from the capital's industrial district, and agricultural produce from the farms of the fertile river basin.

Government

The territory is ruled by a council of nine ministers. Five ministers are elected every five years by the population. Two ministers are elected for life and voting for them is done by the population whenever one dies or resigns, and two are appointed by the king for seven years.

The monarchy of Lord'eron comes from its past history as a monarchial city-state up until 782 A.F. and has been maintained as a traditional post in the government with no power. Yet once the Federation of Lordaroth was established the territory's government was reformed and the king was given the role of selecting two ministers for the governing council.
