Biography
- Leader of the SLP in parliament under the two SLP / Conservative Party coalitions under Vogels.
- Headed the government in exile in Lavenrunz during the Shadow War.
- Was elected twice as Prime Minister of Knootoss. Headed a left-wing SLP/KGP coalition government (van der Laan I) and what was de facto a centre-right SLP/RCPK coalition (van der Laan II) despite the greens still holding ministerial posts. She presided over many important events, such as extensive progressive reforms, the Knootian withdrawal from SATO and Operation rattling sabre. A cold war with the CACE tainted her leadership, and under van der Laan II many of her progressive reforms were undone.
- Lost the election for Prime Minister to Galadriël Táralom nos Círdan of the RCPK, who subsequently formed a coalition government with the SLP. Lousewies returned to leading the SLP in parliament.
