Lucy Shawe

Her Excellency Comrade Lucy Shawe is the ambassador of the People's Democratic Social Republic of Ariddia to the Principality of Ausserland.

Shawe was born abroad and immigrated to Ariddia with her parents at the age of 5. She is one of very few Ariddians to have a dinstinctly aristocratic accent and bearing, which often comes as a surprise when she is introduced as the representative of a communist, egalitarian country. She does not play down the fact that she is of "upper class" background, but one could never describe her as a snob, and she is a member of Ariddia's ruling Democratic Communist Party.

Ambassador Shawe holds a degree in history and a Master's degree in sociology, both from the University of Val Wneh (Rêvane). She is an educated, well-read, cultured woman. Nonetheless, she also knows how to use her hands for manual work, and, like every Ariddian citizen, periodically took part in community work of various sorts until she moved to Ausserland to take up ambassadorial duties.

Of average height, Ambassador Shawe is a slender woman with very dark brown hair, blue eyes and delicate features. She is not married, but has a young daughter.

Ausserland maintains an embassy in Rêvane, Ariddia, headed by Ambassador Hyung-sook Lim.
