The Colony of Magna Cartman was a large, stunning nation of just under 203 million inhabitants. It was led by the dictator T.R. Cairo, who made all decisions related to the land.
Military Service was compulsary for all inhabitants aged 16 to 24. The military contained two branches - the Colonial Army and the United Cartman Terrorist Agency. The colony was governed by a single police force, controlled by the UCTA.
One of the most facinating aspects of life in Magna Cartman was the justice system of that nation. Crimes were defined in "Tiers" with appropriate sentences. Tier 1 crimes included murder, rape, grevious bodily harm offences, people smuggling and drug trafficking. The maximum penalty for these crimes was death, but, uniquely, this was not to occur until a cooling off period of 5 years has occured. The maximum penalty could only be served by those who pled not guilty. Those who pled guilty simply received a life sentence. The other tier's crimes had sentences halved for a guilty plea. As thus, the justice system was efficient.

The nation is 3500 Km East to West and 1170 Km from North to South at the widest points.
At present, a large proportion of the population are pushing to become a democracy, whereby they are represented by a parliament. This has so far fallen on deaf ears.
