Maik Meyers, a Mikitivity diplomat, served as the 1st head of the Mikitivity Office of International Affairs and United Nations Ambassador. He was succeeded by Howie Katzman after retiring from civil service in April 2005, in order to teach international affairs at the Lemurian University School for UN Affairs.

UN Activities

His legacy of backing international environmental and humanitarian resulted in an expansion of the role of International Red Cross Organization, where along with the help of Jean-Christophe Dunant, the Secretary General of the Mikitivity Rote Kreuz, through a series of UN resolutions. The highlight of Meyers's UN activites were the drafting and passage of several of the United Nation's most popular resolutions, including Ballast Water, Tracking Near Earth Objects, Needle Sharing Prevention, Good Samaritan Laws, and Tsunami Warning System.
