Notes
World Cup 28 Winner, Olympic Champion

Perhaps it was because he played his football in Nova Britannicus for a side regarded as tough but with little skill, but Maivia Von Erich is overlooked in the grand scheme of Starblaydi strikers. This is despite the fact he succeeded where many other, undoubtedly more talented, players had failed.

Even though he was never more than a substitute for major squads, he became a World Cup Winner and Olympic Champion during his career. Undoubtedly his greatest moment was in the World Cup 28 Final when, as a subsitute, he was called upon to take a penalty in the Final against Bedistan. Maivia made no mistake and blasted the fifth penalty past the Bedistani 'keeper, forcing the match into a 'sudden death' mode, which Starblaydia won 7-6.

He also won a Gold Medal at the Ashford Olympics as a starting #10 striker. With a twenty year-old Johan Keifner in support, Maivia scored three goals: two against Schiavonia and the winner in the Semi-Final against Liverpool England. For the fifteen goals in his international career, Maivia was inducted into the Rapaii 15 club.
