Europe has often been divided into ideological alliances throughout its history. This alliance system has played a major role in the history of the region.

List of Current Major Alliances

  • The Right Wing Union - The Right Wing Union is an Alliance based the same as RWB. It members is: Haville & Gruffinford.
  • The Monarchist Pact - A coalition of all states the consist of monarchies whether they be absolute or constitutional.
  • RWB - Right Wing Bloc - Formed upon the merging of two distinct alliances, the Conservative Coalition and the Union of European Fascists, the RWB believes that it has been able to impose itself as a Great Power, surprising those who expected it to be just another puppet of the now-defunct UCS. The RWB's membership has fluctuated over time, but it remains the oldest alliance in Europe*.
  • The Socialist Alliance - The Union is a new Communist/Socialist alliance led by a group of 6 founder members - Cidonia, Monkecia, Alamein, Europaland, Myrth, and Greater DCU. It also includes other nations. It has become a major player in European politics and one of the three most powerful alliances in the opinions of some. However, three of the six founder members have since left, leaving only Monkecia, Europaland, and Alamein as the leading powers. It still holds a large sway over European politics, however.
  • ACE - Alliance of Capitalist Europe - A young alliance of predominantly liberal capitalists, it has a politically diverse membership ranging from authortarian giants, empires, and liberal democracies.
  • LCN - League of Capitalist Nations - Includes the FMS and ACE, and other nations that are not members of either 'sub-alliance'. More of a discussion forum than an alliance, it has a huge, diverse memberlist.
  • ANN - Alliance of Nationalist Nations - A very young alliance of nationalist and other rightist nations.

Past alliances

  • AGE - Alliance of Greater Europe - A diverse alliance that was formed and collapsed within the space of a week. It was formed from many of the European democracies, as well as some left and right-wing nations, but collapsed when some members left Europe* due to an OOC disagreement. IC controversy such as the unexplained ejection of various members also contributed to it's downfall.
  • ComIntern/UFES/ComIntern/UFESS (United Federation of European Socialist States) - The other half of the 'Big Two', this was the major communist/socialist alliance in Europe. It was a counterbalance to the EDF capitalists.
  • DAT - Defence Alliance Treaty - A 'neutral' alliance, the DAT was a purely defensive alliance that was never particularly active. Nobody ever attacked them, and they merged with the PNNC. One of the first European alliances.
  • EDF - European Defence/Democratic Federation - Formerly one half of the 'Big Two' of the EDF and the ComIntern/UFES, the EDF collapsed when the major powers of the EDF left. The remaining members tried but failed to hold it together. At the height of it's power, it contained Erlangen-Ansbach, Twente, Zoomany, Cucolo, Alamein, ECE, Futurists, Aahjkasllu, South Germany, and many more. It was formed as the European DEFENCE Federation but was later renamed the European DEMOCRATIC Federation.
  • MIT - Meridiem International Treaty - A closed alliance composed of some of the most aggressive European nations. Composed by the Unified Stalinist States of Cidonia, the Empire of Nuttylnd, the Aeroporian State of Rokolev and the Dominion of Sortain. Dissolved when Cidonia and Sortain went to war at the beginning of Operation Lustiger Glückshase.
  • PNNC - Peace, Neutrality and Nonviolence Coalition - A pacifist alliance that lasted for a long time, and eventually merged with the DAT creating the UAP.
  • UAP - United Alliance for Peace - Formed by the merger of the DAT and the PNNC, the UAP was Europe's longest-lasting pascifist alliance. It was dissolved not long after its most powerful nations departed from the alliance.
  • UCS - Union of Conservative States - Formed by the departing major powers of the EDF, this alliance was at one point considered the strongest in Europe before they made pretty much everybody turn against them. It eventually disbanded with some former members joining Interlaken and others going on to form Meridiem.
