March of the Dragoons is the national anthem of Toopoxia, there are three versions, the original 1832 Gallian version, the 1845 Kings version and the revised 1922 Republican Version.

History

The original was inspired by a letter posted to Lord Admiral Briullov from Saint Pietro Gallius, Briullov openly criticized the organisation, Knights of St Gallia, claiming that Pietro was expanding the Toopoxican Empire for his own personal gain, in his response Saint Gallius wrote "Five men march for the Gallian Knights, and they march for the Queen, and for the Toopoxican people!" the letter found its way to aspiring artist Tarras Kent who wrote the first edition as an unofficial anthem for the Gallian Colonies.

The song remained rather un-noticed until 1845 when Queen Tatyana Mikhainus passed away, the new King, Viktor II, asked for a new modern Anthem, the song was taken and re-written by Arthur Genau.
