The Marshalliston Capitals is the first hockey team in Oliverry. The Oliverrian Hockey League's history is the same as this team's history until 2005, when there was a new league formed: the Independant Hockey League.

History

The team's history starts in 1868, when Marshalliston created a local hockey league of 5 teams. The Capitals were located in Palace district. In 1898, the league stopped his activities. The Capitals continued playing as an independant team, playing around the country as the Harlem Globetrotters are doing right now IRL. In 1904, a game was played between the Oliver City Toros and the Marshalliston Capitals, which Marshalliston won. This led to the creation of the Oliverrian Hockey League, which regrouped 4 teams all around Oliverry. The Capitals won 40 John Oliver Memorial cups + 10 Marshalliston Hockey League titles. The team moved to the Independant Hockey League after a conflict with the Oliverrian Hockey League in 2005. It was, then, the only team that didn't move from any city in the history of the league.
