Megalopolis

Megalopolis is the vision of Jo O'Dean, a city beyond Metropolis, which is inhabited "not by millions, but by billions". Learning from the megastructure construction used in the New Tower of Babel, Metropolis should transform to become one huge Megastructure, in which finally every class will live in happiness. This can only be achieved through continuing mechanization. "With the transistion made from the weak flesh of the working class to the great power of the machine-man, Megalopolis is within our grasp." Of course, seeing the difficulties arising from the construction of Metropolis, some sort of "mechanoid chaos", called "Iron Curtain", was expected to manifest itself prior to the ultimate completion of Megalopolis, which would let only the toughest survive and thus propably erradicate most of the working class.
