Fully Mehmet & Sarigiannidis Finest All-Candelarian Kebabs, a large and successful grilled meat emporium in Albrecht, Candelaria And Marquez.
The original outlet was opened by Mr Ümit Mehmet and Mr Christos Sarigiannidis in the Songstress neighbourhood in the northern part of downtown Albrecht, in 1991. After not inconsiderable financial success, the shop relocated to its current, considerably larger, digs at 17 Bower Street in the heart of the district’s commercial area. The modern M&S is a restaurant as well as takeaway, and a popular meeting place in the district thanks to its huge neon signage. It is currently owned and run by Mr Mehmet and the daughter of the late Mr Sarigiannidis, Mrs Hebe Hutchinson.
As with most buildings in Songstress, the M&S is a two-story edifice; with the upper level large enough to contain four separate flats which are expensively rented out by the owners. The current inhabitants of these flats are;
- Flat 1 ~ Mr. Robert Baron and Mrs. Kwang Baron (deceased), directors of Christian rights group Seething!
- Flat 2 ~ Mr. M. J. L. Gupta, a District Assurance Assistant at Dynamic Quality Direction Ltd.
- Flat 3 ~ Ms. Johanna Wilbur, Military Intelligence Liaison Office to President James Anderson
- Flat 4 ~ The Embassy of the Rookdom of Zwangzug; His Excellency the Ambassador of Zwangzug, Frank Gleason; and associate.
M&S sits opposite the Headquarters of the Candelaria And Marquez Soccer Association, and is a few minutes amble from the Millerman Sheppard Stadium. It has as a result established itself as a popular destination for half-cut Albrecht FC and A.Turks supporters, a status that has seen it become something of a social pariah among some special interest groups opposed to public drunkenness.
It has been suggested that the site currently occupied by the shop contains an ancient portal linking the Earth with gribbly inter-dimensional beings of the Last Days, and a potential path to regaining the Knowledge of the Ancients.
But that would be awfully derivative.
