Mich-Inzl is one of the two Autonomous Communities of Yuunli. It makes up 87% of Yuunli's population, and 83% of its area.

The capital of Mich-Inzl is Leizn in the Kant province.

The flag of Mich-Inzl represents the three main landscapes of the island: the mountains (red), the woodlands (green), the coast (blue) and the rivers and lakes (blue).

Geography

Mich-Inzl is located in the north of the IDU landmass. To the east, there are uninhabited islands and the United Islands of Amidonia. To the south-east, there is the Empire of Keeslandia, to the south-west the Democratic Federation of Grosseschnauzer, and to the west the Holy Republic of Lloegr-Cymru.

The total area of Mich-Inzl is 3,914,053 km² (1,511,871 square miles). That's 83% of Yuunli.

The following map (which shows both Mich-Inzl and Chirachi), rivers are blue and provincial borders are red, unless they are marked by rivers.

Religions

Religious affiliation is not asked in a census, that's why only estimates exist.

It is estimated that 50% of the Mysh Island population are strigidists (25% of them traditionalists, 75% modernists), 42% atheists and 8% follow other religions.

The mountainous regions are strongholds of traditional strigidism, whereas the modern variant is stronger in the coastal and hilly provinces.
Atheists are more common in more urbanized provinces.
Other religions are more common in coastal provinces.

Fore more information about strigidist beliefs, see Strigidism.

  • Loreka: blue and white square
  • Muituan: blue and yellow square
  • Oipach: black owl

  • Putal: dark green butterfly
  • Riftal: red triangle (similar to the left half of the letter 'A')
  • Uaza: black bear
  • Zentai: blue dot

The year of the next compulsory security check is indicated by a colored sticker on top of the plate.

National security (police, ambulances, fire fighters) have plates with red characters, and the word "Zihahoit" instead of a province.

Diplomats have plates with black characters, CD for "corps diplomatique" or CC for "corps consulaire", and a code representing the country of origin (two letters for IDU countries).

Elections

Executive

The members of the Executive Council are elected by majority vote. The most important posts are the chair (moderating when there are conflicts) and finances (managing the budget).

Results of the 2005-09-28 elections:

  • Chairman of the Executive Council: Uchi Impa (FCP)
  • Councilor for Finances: Paia Petaz (YCP)
  • Councilor for National Security: Olibya Chuman (FCP)
  • Councilor for Infrastructure: Liza Stoipa (FCP)
  • Councilor for Environment Protection: Rutoif Bezbeita (FCP)
  • Councilor for International Relations: Tita Teafa (FCP)

Legislature

The number of seats in parliament corresponds to the rounded percentage of votes a party received. Only parties with at least 1% of the votes enter parliament.
If the sum does not add up to 100, the biggest faction gets the remaining seats.
If the sum is more than 100, the smallest factions lose seats.

Results of the 2005-09-25 elections (compared to those of 2005-08-09):

The provincial representatives are unlikely to veto bills supported by both FCP and SLL.
