Jevian Commanding Forces

Jevian Arms League

Ranks

Those who join the JCF are required to complete a 2 year training course to attain the title of "Recruit". After 1 year as a "Recruit", the men or women of the JCF may be given an opportunity to complete their required testing to become an "Enlist". The title of an "Enlist" is the highest title available without reaching any special requirements.

The Rankings of the JCF are shown in increasing power of Enlisted Soldiers and Officers.

Enlisted Soldiers

  • Recruit (R) - A registered member of the JCF that has passed his or her 2 year training course. Recruits are not placed into battle unless the most extreme situation is presented.
  • Enlist (E) - The lowest rank for enlisted soldiers. New members of any section of the JCF -- from Naval to Air Forces -- are all considered Enlists. Enlists are required to commit at least 3 years of service.
  • Enlist 3rd Class (EC3) - Typically, an Enlist with at least 3 years of service. This title may be granted earlier for special considerations. EC3s may, at times, assume control over 10 - 25 members of the JCF.
  • Enlist 2nd Class (EC2) - Normally, an Enlist with 5 years of service is allowed the title of EC2. This title may be granted earlier for special considerations. EC2s frequently maintain control over 50 - 75 members.
  • Enlist 1st Class (EC1) - Enlists who demonstrate a significant amount of leadership abilities are given the title of EC1, who usually control small squads of Enlists from about 100 - 500 members.
  • Enlist Specialist (ES) - Enlists given a special position at the tactical squadrons of the JCF are given the ES title.
  • Corporal (C) - EC1s or ESs who demonstrate the ability to lead larger squadrons are given the title of Corporal. Corporals lead squads of 500 - 750 members.
  • Sergeant (S) - Cs who demonstrate the highest level of competence on the battlefield are given the title Sergeant, who command companies of 1000 - 2500 members.
  • Sergeant 2nd Class (SC2) - Sergeants with at least 5 years of service at the position are given the title of SC2. SC2s control groups of 10,000 - 50,000 members.
  • Sergeant 1st Class (SC1) - SC2s with at least 10 years of service at the position and a strong level of knowledge are given the title SC1. SC1s lead groups of 100,000 - 500,000 members.
  • Sergeant Major (SM) - Senior SC1s with the most acute sense of strategy and competence of the military are given the title of Sergeant Major. SMs maintain control over 1,000,000 - 2,500,000 members. SMs serve as advisors to the SJCF and other Generals.
  • Sergeant of the JCF (SJCF) - The highest ranking soldier on any battlefield, the SJCF is only selected for extremely large-scale invasion or defensive plans. SJCF is an honorary title that remains with the last recipient until he or she is either demoted or retired. The SJCF oversees the everyday operations of the whole of the JCF and serves as an official advisor to the Generals of the JCF.

Officers

  • Officer (O) - Upon reaching the title of Sergeant, members have a choice: to continue leading the day-to-day operations of squadrons, or to automatically advance to the title of Officer, who are rarely seen on the battlefield. Officers oversee the large-scale operations of the Corporals of the army division of the JCF and their individual tactics, as passed down to them from higher-ranking individuals.
  • Officer 1st Class (OC1) - Typically an officer with 3 years of experience. OC1s may also be asked to refer to Sergeants in their work.
  • Warrant Officer (WO) - A Warrant Officer is an OC1 who demonstrates the ability and knowledge of all the technological skills of the JCF, which is attained through a WOAT (Warrent Officer Aptitude Test). Warrent Officers usually oversee the large-scale operations of the technical squads of the JCF.
  • Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) - A WO with at least 2 years of experience at the position.
  • Warrent Officer Major (WOM) - A CWO with at least 3 years of experience at the position, who demonstrate the ability to become a Lieutenant.
  • Lieutenant Minor (LMin) - Lieutenants are selected from the WOMs and oversee the large-scale operations of all divisions of the JCF's Corporals, as passed to them from their Captains.
  • Lieutenant Major (LMaj) - A senior LMin with at least 3 years of experience at the position.
  • Captain Minor (CMin) - Captains order the overall operations all of the Corporals, to be executed by the lower ranking officers, and oversee the large-scale operations of all the Sergeants and SC2s of all the divisions of the JCF, as passed from the Colonels.
  • Captain Major (CMaj) - A senior CMin with at least 3 years of experience at the position.
  • Colonel (Col) - Colonels order the large-scale operations of all the Sergants, to be executed by the lower-ranking Officers, and oversee the large-scale operations of all the SC1s. Colonel is the highest normal ranking for JCF officers. The title of General is only given to the best JCF officers, as reccommended by the current Generals.
  • General (G) - Generals advise of the strategical maneuvers of the Colonels and other lower ranking officers, execute and oversee the large-scale operations of the SMs, and issue the operations for the SC1s to be completed by the Colonels.
  • Senior General (SG) - A General with 10 years experience at the position.
  • General Major (GM) - A SG usually with 30 years of experience at the position may be given the ability to become a General Major, who advise the GJCF and CG on the full-scale and total operations of the whole of the JCF. GMs maintain authority over all lower-ranking officials and enlisted soldiers, and may advise as they see fit on any operations of the lower ranks.
  • General of the JCF (GJCF) - The highest ranking official of the JCF, the GJCF is only selected for extremely large-scale invasion or defensive plans. The GJCF is an honorary title that remains with the last recipient until he or she is either demoted or retired, and executes and oversees the full-scale and complete operations of all the GMs as well as the entire JCF, all of which are subject to the CG.
  • Commanding General (CG) - The Commanding General is the Emperor himself. The CG may override the decisions by any official or soldier by any means, maintains the control to execute and oversee his own expiditions without other official approval, and controls the ability to elect a GJCF and SJCF.
