== Role in Canada ==

The Minister of Defence's primary role is to keep the region safe and secure from any threat to the constitutional rule of Canada.

=== Election ===

The MoD is elected along with the remaining Cabinet Ministers through open elections that occur once every three months. The MoD must appoint a Deputy Minister of Defence.

=== Duties and Authority ===

The MoD is responsible for readying Canada’s nations for military roles, whether it be in defence of the region, or in a military or occupational struggle in other regions. The MoD assumes the position of director of the [[Canadian Regional Defence Force]] and is responsible for amassing foreign military and civilian intelligence.

All military actions recommended by the MoD are subject to Cabinet approval before their implementation.
