Minister of Defence of Canada
The Canadian Minister of Defence holds one of three Administrator positions of the regional forum according to the constitutional definition.[1] The current Minister of Defence of Canada is Defectiveness.
Role in Canada
The Minister of Defence's primary role is to keep the region safe and secure from any threat to the constitutional rule of Canada.
Election
The MoD is elected along with the remaining Cabinet Ministers through open elections that occur once every three months. The MoD must appoint a Deputy Minister of Defence.
Duties and Authority
The MoD is responsible for readying Canada’s nations for military roles, whether it be in defence of the region, or in a military or occupational struggle in other regions. The MoD assumes the position of director of the Canadian Regional Defence Force and is responsible for amassing foreign military and civilian intelligence.
All military actions recommended by the MoD are subject to Cabinet approval before their implementation.
