The Canadian Minister of Regional Affairs holds one of three Administrator positions of the regional forum according to the constitutional definition.[1] The current Minister of Regional Affairs of Canada is 420_Celebrants.

Role in Canada

The Minister of Regional Affairs is given the task of communicating with all member nations of Canada, informing members of events and noteworthy information. The MoRA is the decisive Cabinet member in maintaining a healthy line of mutual communication between the Cabinet and the regional members.

Election

The MoRA is elected along with the remaining Cabinet Ministers through open elections that occur once every three months. The MoRA must appoint a Deputy Minister of Regional Affairs.

Duties and Authority

The MoRA is responsible for informing the region on cabinet affairs. This task is defined in the Cabinet Disclosure Legislation and requires the publishing of a periodic Cabinet Report that must disclose all applicable cabinet activities.

Another important duty of the MoRA is to promptly organise all elections and referenda, as well as maintaining the region’s election schedule in the forum calendar.

Among other responsibilities, the MoRA can seek regional opinion on important issues based on both formal and informal polling methods, amass domestic intelligence, appoint a Role-Play Coordinator and assume the Prime Minister's administrator duties when the PM has failed to pass a vote of confidence.
