The Ministry for Community Connections is one of the four superdepartments of the federal government of Sober Thought.

It is responsible for fostering the physical and psychological links between the community and its constituent provinces, and among the provinces. It has four vice ministries: culture, communications, transport and provincial cooperation.

Culture maintains federal museums, libraries, archives and other cultural institutions. It supports the arts and amateur sports.

Communications regulates radio, television, internet, telephone and telegraph transmissions. Additionally, the national postal service reports to a chief directorate here.

Constitutionally, air transport is a wholly federal responsibility, but the Community shares its interest in water and land transportation with the provinces. It also operates the regulatory Chief Directorate of Transportation Safety which will be responsible to the proposed United Nations Transportation Safety Agency.

Provincial Cooperation has a directorate for each of the eleven provinces, as well as chief directorates for cooperation in education, police and natural resources.
