Policy

Energy

  • The Kingdom of Einmyria has explicitly stated that it is looking into environmentally sustainable research for the nation's energy needs.
    • Much of the tax that the government earns is fed back into the economy by way of large amounts of R&D funding into areas like biofuel and bio-based environments for future space travel, and heavily subsidizing solar panels for homes in order to reduce the dependence on electricity.
    • As the government has already put in place an efficient mass public transport system in major cities in the kingdom, the next policy implementation is gearing towards making gasoline and gasoline vehicles more expensive than electricity, hydrogen, hybrid, solar, and other kinds of alternative fuel source vehicles so that it's citizens will be inclined to switch more readily.
    • The government has put in place a policy in which the kingdom is to replace all solely gasoline-powered vehicles by 2012.
    • The government is looking into creating green home projects, where heating and/or cooling systems are completely natural or helped along by architectural designs.
      • An international design contest to design the Royal Residence is to be set for November, piquing the interest of many architectural firms and architects in the world.
    • The government is considering a carbon tax for all individuals (not only corporations), and has spent a significant portion of it's environmental budget on educating the citizens to conserve energy.

Environment

  • The kingdom has also made the komodo dragon, a highly endangered species, it's national animal, in the hopes that greater awareness will help the komodo dragon's plight.
